Terrorism

What is TerrorismTerrorism is the use of fear and acts of violence to fear the government and the common people. Terrorists do not believe in the force of argument, they believe in the argument of force.  They do not believe in negotiations and table-talks. All they believe in is guns, bullets and bombs.

What causes terrorism? There are many factors behind its birth. It may arise out of the frustration and humiliation of a certain group of people who seek revenge against the government. Unemployment, poverty, religious ideological misinterpretations, political inclusiveness, they all contribute in the birth of terrorism.

The developed countries of the world should take up the responsibility to eliminate terrorism from this beautiful planet. But, have you ever seen the scenario like that? No.. History is the evidence which have seen the developed countries of the world classifying  terrorism as 'Good Terrorism and Bad Terrorism '. Such deeds can never be justified as terrorism can never be good.

Terrorism is sponsored by some countries against  their enemy counties. The policy of 'Enemy's enemy is a friend' is still used. We could have diminished the terrorism a lot earlier had it not been sponsored by some so called developed countries.

Terrorism is not an issue just for some peace-loving nations like India. In fact it is a serious threat to the whole humanity. India is facing terrorism right since the independence.  The recent Uri Attack can never be forgotten. It is regarded as one of the most deadliest terrorist  attacks on India in these 2 decades. Efforts should be made to isolate those countries globally which support terrorism.

But still the question is the same, that is, ' How can we kill terrorism?' I think the most common or a popular answer by you will be probably killing the terrorists. But would killing the terrorists kill the terrorism completely and totally? No. It would even promote it. It is rightly said, 'You can kill a person at once, but it takes ages to kill an ideology '.

We Should try to kill those factors which promote terrorism. Let's promote education to kill terrorism. Let's promote development to kill terrorism. Let's promote employment to kill terrorism. Let's kill illiteracy to kill terrorism.

And MALALA YOUSUFZAI rightly said, "With guns you can kill Terrorists, with education you can kill Terrorism. "

So let's promote education along with moral principles and ethics to eliminate terrorism and make this planet a better place to live in !!!!!!

Taking Bid - School Life

School Life is one of the best stages, in fact the best stage of one's life. One comes as a child and passes out at an almost adult age. It can be said that a person grows during the school time. Who can forget the fun time spent with friends, the scolding of teachers, the fight with foes, and many more events which are really hard to write here. So without writing more and wasting your time I am presenting my poem "Taking Bid - School Life"
Lovepreet

This poem was also recited by me on the stage during the 'Last Official Assembly of 10th Class' when I was in Mount Carmel School Balachaur.

Here is the description of the School Life in the form of the poem

at Mount Carmel School Balachaur
         Taking Bid - School Life

I came here as a little kid.
The lovely teachers gave me a bid.
Their love stopped my crying,
Happy I was, they made me smile.

School Life is God's best gift.
With joys and sorrows, where the life drift!
Its the school which has lit the light,
In the life, which would have been a night.

The unforgettable moments with the friends.
Being with them the miseries end.
Really, the friends are shining stars,
Cheerful and glowing like the flowers.

The hard-working teachers guided us well.
Shaping our personality with magic spell.
Mount Carmel School balachaur
Thank you teachers, we owe you a lot!
We stand up to the world with your support!

When we came, we were in  a fear.
Now on leaving, eyes are filled with tears.
We are now going to depart,
Physically! Not from HEART!!!!!

NATURE

Dancing on trumpet these lovely trees.
To and fro around in breeze.
O the lovely river bed!
Glittering with the sunlight spread.

The beauty of clouds beyond any praise.
High in the sky showing their grace.
The changing colours of sun at times,
Better than the best poem's rhyme.

The mountains' head always helding high.
The pines and teaks upon which lie.
The flowing streams make nature sing,
Obeying the orders of LORD, the King!

Sky at times changing its bred,
From pink to blue, and then to red.
Little stars twinkling at night,
At night, which is really bright..

The sparkling grass at the noon,
Competing with the night's moon.
The gladiolus lovely flower,
Attracting angel like humans, with its magical powers!!

Why destroying nature is today's trend??
We have made the nature bend!
Decide whose better, the rose, or thorn????
Damn! In deciding we are wrong!

Nature is a boon to you and your kin,
Why are we then committing this sin?
The purpose for which nature is born,
Is to take away the world's forlorn!

Yoga - The Perfect Way Of Living The Life

When it comes to Yoga, many of us, infact the most of us would make the picture of Baba Ramdev in our mind doing different Asanas. Isn't it?  Why to worry? It is Normal!

What is Yoga? Yoga is the oldest known science of self-development. It is an oldest known way of dealing with the fitness of human body, mind and spirit. The Sanskrit word 'yuj' is the one to which Yoga owes its existence. The meaning of this word is to join or unite.

India is the origin of Yoga. The traced civilization of yoga is its evident. Lord Shiva is considered as the founder of Yoga. Maharishi Kapil Muni was the first teacher of Yoga. Patanjali is the Father of Yoga for the modern world.

Yoga is the 'Ashtanga-Yoga', where 'Ashta' means eight, and 'Anga' means limbs. There are 8 elements of Yoga. Wow! It means the Asanas, or the body exercises- primarily considered as Yoga are just a part out of 8 parts. Amazing!

Different parts, or simply the elements of Yoga are:-

1) Yama. It includes the moral discipline for the individual and includes the principles such as truth, non-violence, non-stealing and non-possessiveness.
2) Niyama. It refers to the individual's body and senses. The Niyamas listed by Patanjali are purity, contentment, detachment, studying spiritual books, and dedication to Lord.
3) Asanas. Asanas are the one which you must have seen being practiced by Baba Ramdev. Of course, these are the different postures of the body which aim towards making a person healthy and balanced. These help to develop concentration, agility, vitality and endurance. They keep the body free from diseases.
4) Pranayama. Pranayama is the practice of various breathing techniques. It improves the respiratory system. The regular practice of pranayama helps to control the mind and emotions.
The three main stages of Pranayama are;-
a. Poorak. It means to inhale breath.
b. Kumbhak. It means to retain breath.
c. Rechak. It means to exhale breath.
5) Pratyahara. Pratyahara means to detach the mind and the sense organs from the related activity in order to connect with the Almighty. In Pratyahara, one no longer responds to the various senses such as words, beauty, smell, taste, etc. and starts feeling the extreme pleasure in God.
6) Dharna. Hey, this Dharna is not the one which Mr. Kejriwal practice. This Dharna, which is a part of Yoga, refers to the concentration of the mind enabling one to control the mind and self completely. One is fully having the concentration on a single point.
7) Dhayana. It refers to meditation or complete concentration of mind where one can concentrate long and do meditation. One is able to integrate body, control over breath, senses, mind, ego, etc. One can concentrate over a long period of time without any divergence.
8) Samadhi. It is the peak of meditation where one loses personal identity. It is the union of the individual's soul with the Supreme Soul. During Samadhi, the senses are at rest as one is sleeping but the mind remains alert and conscious.

Different Asanas treat different ailments. Some of them are;-
1) Tad Asana
Tad Asana
This asana is helpful in strengthening the leg muscles, removing the leg and ankle pain. It is also helpful in increasing the height of the children.

2) Shalabh Asana
Shalabh Asana
This asana increases the blood circulation, and the memory power. It is very useful for the shoulders. The spine and waist become flexible. It cures the problems like those related with the urine and excessive saliva. Many stomach diseases such as acidity, ingestion, etc. are also cured.

3) Bhujang Asana
Bhujang Asana
This asana reduces obesity, cures liver diseases, and is helpful in strengthening the lung power. It increases the blood circulation and gives power and flexibility to the body.

4) Hal Asana
Hal Asana

This asana reduces weight and the back pain. It is helpful in strengthening the neck, back, and shoulder muscles. It improves the vision, i.e., the eye sight and the blood circulation.

 5) Vajara Asana
Vajara Asana
This asana cures the back ache and chest diseases. It is helpful in concentration and improves the memory. It strengthens the thighs, toes, and legs. It improves the digestive system and makes the body strong.

6) Sarvang Asana

Sarvang Asana
This asana improves the blood circulation, eye sight and the digestive system. It reduces constipation and relieves head ache. It makes the body active, delays ageing, and cures piles.

Not only just these, there are several other asanas which aim towards our overall development by curing several other diseases and problems. We should also practice the Yoga on daily basis in order to live the life to the fullest. The Indian Government and our Honourable Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi Ji are working towards the development of Yoga. The Yoga is now practiced in almost very country of the world. The first International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21st June, 2015. The second International Yoga Day is also going to be celebrated on 21st June, 2016 this time. So, let us start practicing Yoga on daily basis. It really does not take much time to practice Yoga everyday, especially when the question of saving this life arises!

The tag number 27 was luckily going to be lucky for lucky Lovepreet. He spoke off and the jury of renowned judges declared him 3rd out of the 45.

Hats off to Sapna Rana Mam and the whole staff of the school which selected him despite his being the student of the school just for two weeks. He too didn't disappoint the expectations. Is India really Intolerant? The so called Intolerant India

In three thousand years of our history, people from all over the world have come and invaded us. Captured our lands and conquered our minds. From Alexander onwards, the Mughals, the Greeks, the Turks, the Britishers, the French, the Dutch, the Portuguese, they all have come and invaded us. But we have not done this to any other Nation. We have not grabbed their history, their culture, or tried to enforce our way of life upon them. But why? - Its because we respect the freedom of others.

India has not invaded any other country in past 10,000 years of its history. And its being said now-a-days that 'Intolerance' took birth in India.

Our port authorities would not detain you just because you are named Khan, or anything Muslim. Many famed Indian personalities like Shah Rukh Khan, APJ Abdul Kalam have faced the abuses from the so called developed nations of the so called developed world. Mr. Shah Rukh was detained twice by the USA, once in 2009, and then in 2012, just because he is named Khan, and is a Muslim. But that won't really happen in our intolerant India.

The percentages of many European countries are comparable to that of India. But can you tell, how many of them become their national icons? Are there equivalents of Kalam, AR Rahman, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan. Although, more than 80% population in India is Hindu, but as a minority you can climb up to any position. You can become Army General, Chief Justice, President, Prime Minister and so on.

Christian population in India is less than the Hindu and Sikh population in UK. Despite the fact, Christmas is a National holiday in India while Diwali is not a holiday in UK. In India, we don't take anti-Islam rallies every time a terror attack happens. It is because we believe that there is no religion of terrorism. Not just now, but forever, India has been the home for the persecuted communities around the world like Tibetan Buddhists, Zoroastrians, early Christianity and so on. India has been a Nurturing Sanctuary for all these. Yaa, but India is intolerant.

Today some of our art people are seen returning their awards alleging the current government for promoting Intolerance. And the opposition too is just acting in a destructive way rather than being progressive to this Progressive Modi Sarkaar. We should be intolerant. Yes, we should be intoleant towards the crimes done by the anti-social elements present in our society. Women are unsafe even today, even inside their homes. We should be united and intolerant towards every bullet that is hit towards our brave soldiers.

Let's all unite together for the making of an intelligent, developed and successful INDIA. No ending of this article could be better than writing the great words of The Great APJ Abdul Kalam. The Great man said, "Ask what we can do for India, and do what has to be done, to make India what America and other Western countries are today. So let's do, what India needs from us today!!
